LEARN welcomes Benjamin Gutjahr
Benjamin Gutjahr received his PhD in veterinary medicine after studying the role of neutralizing antibodies as a possible therapeutic agent against Rift Valley fever virus at the Friedrich-Loeffler Institut (FLI). This work was done as part of the international project “Zoonosis anticipation and preparedness initiative” (ZAPI) funded by Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI). In 2019, he continued at the FLI as a post-doctoral researcher in the field of arbovirology. Besides supporting other projects, the focus is on the LEARN project. Within this project, he will support WP2 by developing new serological assays and furthermore supporting the training of students from partner countries.
